Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

A stunning example of Spanish Colonial architecture, La Casa Primera is made out of adobe bricks and stucco, and once featured a thatched roof built with raw logs and draped cloth. Today, the home, which was built in 1837 and is a designated historical landmark, can be visited on Sundays upon request. Visitors will be transported back in time to learn about life in the 1800s and see furniture, decorations, and other artifacts that would likely have been used and enjoyed by its former owners, the Palomares Family.
