Dedicated to educating and inspiring visitors, the Natural History Museum is packed with exhibits which will foster curiosity about the wonderful natural world around you. The layout of the museum leads visitors through a series of rooms, each of which contains collections of paper Mache (and real) creatures which have been found along the coastline of the area. Displays start off with sea creatures and move on to include many taxidermy models of endemic bird and animal species, all displayed against a natural backdrop. This museum brings nature home to many visitors who would otherwise not have the opportunity to observe these plants and creatures in the wilds.
