Concord Pavilion is a community amphitheater with a capacity for up to 12,500 people which is owned and operated by the City of Concord and Live Nation. Formerly known as Sleep Train Pavilion and Chronicle Pavilion, the Concord Pavilion was designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry and landscape architect Peter Walker.
Opened in 1975, it has hosted a wide variety of amateur and professional musical acts over the past decades and still continues to do so today for concerts, high school graduations, and local community events such as the Battle of the Bands, and the annual Jazz Festival.
