Lands End Beach Off Leash Dog Area is an unfenced beach area within a northwestern shoreline region along the San Francisco Bay, featuring wildflower-covered hillsides and rocky coastal areas. The area is serviced by the Lookout Visitor Center, which offers exhibits on regional history and sells a variety of souvenirs. A number of historic attractions are easily accessible from the beach, including the ruins of Sutro Baths, the West Fort Miley batteries, and the USS San Francisco World War II memorial.
