Nick's Cafe first opened in Los Angeles in 1948, and in the seven decades since, it has grown into an LA staple for breakfast food.

The location is in a low fuss, no frills type of building, with a big pig painted on the exterior and an interior stuffed with display cases, enough tables to make it hard to move, and an old-fashioned diner bar where guests can sit and watch all the action in the open kitchen as they wait for their food.

The food at Nick’s Cafe is traditional diner comfort fare, like eggs with potatoes and sausage, bacon, or corned beef hash, scrambles, waffles, or thick stacks of pancakes drizzled with syrup.
