Rucica Beach is a small crescent-shaped pebble beach located about one kilometer from the town of Metajna on Pag Island, which is characterized by its barren moon-like landscape and is famous for its cheese and wine. Although Rucica Beach is not as picturesque as many of Croatia’s other beaches, it has a charm of its own and is well worth a visit.
Is Rucica Beach good for snorkeling? At one end of the beach you will find rocky areas which offer good snorkeling and there is a coffee shop with a terrace where you can escape the sun for a few minutes.
Pro tip: The beach offers wonderful views and the opportunity to take a short hike to several other beaches.
Good to know: You have to bring your own umbrella and chairs.
