Review & FAQ:

Built in 1070 during the time of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the Temple of Literature is one of several temples in Vietnam dedicated to Confucius. The temple also houses the Imperial Academy, which is the first national university in Vietnam. Visitors can explore the many halls and pavilions, which are used for study sessions, to hold the exams of the Dai Viet, and to offer ceremonies. In the 54,000 square meter land visitors will be able to see not only the temple, but the many courtyards, Van Lake, and Giam Park. People can go to the courtyards, which are quiet areas filled with ancient trees and trimmed plants to meditate, relax, and reflect away from the bustle of the outside world. Map
