The Kyoto National Museum features curated collections of pre-modern Japanese and Asian art. For more than 120 years, the museum has displayed cultural artifacts and works of art in indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces. The Heisei Chishinkan building houses the museum’s permanent collections.
