Review & FAQ:

Lake Atalanta is a reservoir set along Prairie Creek that is used primarily for recreation with a variety of outdoor and recreational facilities, including a children’s playground, picnic areas with tables, and a walking trail. Built in 1936, the lake is named after the wife of O.L. Gregory who donated the land on which the reservoir was built and is surrounded by the second oldest park in Rogers, the 236-acre Lake Atalanta Park. The fishing lake is stocked with channel catfish in the summer months, and rainbow trout in the winter months. Other facilities in and around Lake Atalanta include paved stone walkways, picnic pavilions, off-road biking trails and walking tracks.
