Collins Creek Cascade and Trout Stream is a wild trout fishery in Heber Springs and one of the newest wild trout fisheries in Arkansas. Originally cut off by the Greers Ferry Dam Project, Collins Creek Trout Stream plays host to the first and only documented wild brook trout population in the state, which has reproduced naturally in the creek. Filled with approximately 40,000 gallons of 50-degree water every hour, the stream is home to the Collins Creek Cascade, which provides the perfect spawning ground for trout. The beautiful creek and its surrounding tree canopy and cascades draw hikers, anglers, and swimmers who come to enjoy the spectacular natural scenery.
