If you and your family love mucking about with boats, you are sure to enjoy a day of lakeside fun in the Cattail Cove State Park. The park includes a long stretch of lake shore along Lake Havasu, a man-made lake which was formed when the Colorado River was dammed near Parker. In the state park visitors can enjoy a wide range of lake-side activities including boating, SUP, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, jet-skiing and swimming. Many folks just come to the park to enjoy a water-side picnic and watch all the boating action. There are 61 campsites if you would like to bring your RV and set up camp.
