Located in Scottsdale and operated by the city of Scottsdale’s Parks & Recreation Department, The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is a 40-acre railroad park that features a railroad museum and a variety of amazing exhibits, including a Magma Arizona Railroad locomotive. The 30-acre park boasts several attractions and rides, including the centerpiece Paradise & Pacific Railroad, which was built to replicate a Colorado narrow gauge railroad with three steam locomotives, two diesel engines, an electric engine, several scale model cars, and a 32 x 200 train shed. The park is also home to the beautifully carved and meticulously restored Scottsdale Charros Carousel with 30 horses and two wheelchair chariots.
