The Benson Museum of Local History is situated inside of a store building from the 1920’s. Visitors can take a step back into the past and explore several unique displays that celebrate the history of the local area.
Guests can take a look at maps of how the town looked in the past, learn about the mining and cattle industry, and imagine how various household goods, mining tools, and old dental tools were used.
The history museum is operated by a staff of friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who are more than happy to answer any questions visitors may have about the exhibits.
