Located in Phoenix, the Arizona Falls are no ordinary natural phenomenon. In fact, the Arizona Falls is entirely man-made and harnesses the powerful waters of the Salt River canals to generate enough hydro-electricity to power-up 150 Phoenix households. The Arizona Falls are located between 56th and 58th streets where the 20-foot walls of water tumble over the edge and into the canal below. You can get the best view of the falls by entering from the south, across a pedestrian bridge, which leads to a viewing area. From here you will be able to admire the falling water and also get a peek of the hydroelectric equipment behind the water.
