Located in Grand Teton National Park, the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center is a 22,000-square-foot facility that was created to welcome and orient visitors to the park. Highlights of the discovery center include a raised relief map of the park, a collection of Native American artifacts, and streaming video footage of the park that is projected onto the floor.

A variety of educational programs are offered throughout the year, and anyone wishing to go backpacking or boating in the park can purchase a permit here. The center is open all year round, but hours vary according to the season.
