Review:
These Wisconsin caves offer unique sights to behold every summer and winter. Through time, the water’s currents naturally carved out delicate arches, passageways, and chambers to create the crimson-red Apostle Islands Sea Caves. These caves can host a number of different experiences for visitors depending on the time of year. During the summer, the red caves pop out amidst the shimmering bright blue water and dark green forest growing above. The caves can be viewed by boat, but when water conditions permit, visitors can also explore the caves up close on kayaks. In the winter, when the lake's surface has frozen over, visitors can explore the caves on foot and find an artic wonderland with frozen waterfalls and other frozen formations.
