Stout Island used to be the private getaway of a wealthy lumber baron, but it's now home to Stout's Island Lodge - Island Resort in Wisconsin, a secluded lodge that can only be reached by boat.
The guest rooms are spread out across eleven cabins and two lodges; all rooms come with different amenities, but many have whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, and shared or private decks.
The main lodge offers a restaurant and a comfortable great room for guests to relax in, and outdoor spaces include two fire pits and a large lawn with plenty of games.
