Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:
From May to October, every Wednesday and Saturday hundreds of people flock to the High Rock Park Pavilions to stock up on fresh produce from more than 50 vendors of the Saratoga Farmers’ Market. All vendors are also producers and grow their goodies in neighboring Saratoga, Rensselaer, Schenectady, or Washington counties. When the winter comes, the whole market moves to the impressive Lincoln Baths Building for the Saturday’s big event.
There is always music, information tables from local organizations, and culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs.
While the market has become more of a social hub than a shopping venue, the shopping is truly excellent, and you can stock up on vegetables, fruit, honey, meats, baked goods, poultry, fish, cheese, seafood, wine, jams, yogurt, milk, flowers, herbs, local crafts, and food cooked on site. Many of the products are certified organic. From November to April, the market is held indoors in the Lincoln Baths building at 65 South Broadway.
