National Hotel is another of Block Island’s historic landmarks, perfectly located in the heart of downtown, just opposite the ferry landing. The hotel has a total of 46 Victorian-styled rooms, all of which have air conditioning, flat-screen TV and private bathrooms. In keeping with its age, the hotel does not have an elevator but it does have 2 ground-floor rooms/suites for guests who cannot manage the stairs. The National has a harbor-side Tap and Grill restaurant where you can enjoy lunch or dinner every day while drinking in the sea views. The backyard of the hotel has several fire pits where you can relax with drinks, snacks and nightly entertainment.
