Before it was a museum, the Weeden House Museum and Garden was once used as Dr. William Weeden's residence, and it also served as the home of former US Supreme Court Justice John McKinley. Federal officers called Weeden House their home during the Civil War.

Take a day trip and learn all about life during the 19th century and, more specifically, about Maria Howard Weeden and her family. Taking a stroll through the gardens is always a pleasant experience as they are impeccably manicured.

Tours are offered and activities for children are available as well. If you are wondering what to do in Huntsville AL on a sunny day, the Weeden House Museum and Garden is a unique place to visit. More info
