Established in 1891, the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) is one of the oldest of its kind in America. The massive garden covers 250 verdant acres and is home to 50 distinct themed gardens and more than 1 million plants from all over the world.
The garden serves to connect people to the plant world and foster a love of plants and nature.
As you make your way through the garden, highlights of your visit could include the Conifer Arboretum, the Azalea Garden, the Lilac Collection, the Children’s Discovery Garden and the wonderful Conservatory.
Seasonal highlights include the Cherry Blossoms (March to May and September to November) and the Tree Peony display in March to May.
