Review:
China Tang is one of the premiere hotel restaurants in London's Mayfair district, originally conceived by Sir David Tang, the founder of the lifestyle brand Shanghai Tang. The restaurant, which is housed within the luxurious Dorchester Hotel, strives to evoke the atmosphere of 1930 Shanghai, serving up some of the United Kingdom's most authentic Chinese and Cantonese dishes. Lovely Art Deco-style decor on display at the restaurant includes a collection of traditional and contemporary Chinese art curated by Tang. Dinner entrees include the restaurant's signature Peking duck platter, with an extensive Dim Sum menu also available. The restaurant's bar, widely considered to be one of London's best craft cocktail bars, serves up a list of classic cocktails to complement entrees.
