Founded in 1610, Santa Fe is a beautiful city nestled in the Sangre de Cristo foothills. The streets of the old town wind past stunning examples of Pueblo-style architecture, including the Palace of the Governors, which now houses an excellent museum on the history of New Mexico.

The city is also a destination for art and culture, offering plenty of excellent art galleries, more than a dozen museums, and one of the country's most significant art markets. Visitors will also find it incredibly easy to escape the city and venture out into the surrounding nature to hike, cycle, and horseback ride. Santa Fe Map
