The Museum of the American G.I. in College Station serves as a living history museum with a commitment to the preservation of the memories, uniforms, equipment, and more of the men and women who have served in the United State Military. The military history museum houses one of the nation’s finest collections of restored and running military vehicles from World War I, War War II, and later, including M18 Hellcats, WWII Sherman tanks, and a FT-17 tank from WWI among other military tanks. The Museum of the American G.I. also showcases a variety of historic equipment and uniforms.
