The Dwell Hotel in Downtown Chattanooga is perfect for a romantic getaway. Dwell Hotel is located in a historic building which was originally built on the site of a Civil War fort in 1909. Although much has changed through the decades, Dwell Hotel retains a sense of history and intrigue along with a generous helping of retro charm. While each of the rooms and suites has its own décor and identity, all are wonderfully comfortable and suited to romance. There is a popular downstairs bar called Matilda Midnight, where guests can sip unique artisan cocktails or enjoy their favorite beer or wine.
