There were once many more buildings in the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet complex, which were used for recreation. But due to a fire in 1915, the only surviving buildings are the ballroom and the gazebo, which conveniently are the complex’s two best locations for a wedding. The gorgeous historic ballroom has high ceilings with a romantic second floor balcony, and can accommodate as many as 600 friends and loved ones for a wedding, with plenty of room still for dancing the night away on the historic hardwood floor. Rental fees at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet include furniture, use of the foyer, grand ballroom, and newlywed suite, as well as coat check services, and a five or six hour reception.
