Monroeville Mall is a two-level 1,418,700 square-foot shopping mall in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, east of Pittsburgh. It was completed in 1969 and renovated and expanded in 2003–2004. It has about 150 stores and is anchored by Barnes & Noble, Cinemark Theatres, Dick's Sporting Goods, H&M, JCPenney, and Macy's.

It is located at Mall Circle Drive, across the road from Monroeville Convention Center, known best as a venue of the Pittsburgh Comicon, a popular comic book convention. The mall is famous for being the location of the George A. Romero horror film Dawn of the Dead.

Primanti Bros. is a famous sandwich chain with shops all over the country. It started during the depression as a sandwich cart and grew from there. Their Monroeville, Pennsylvania restaurant is spacious and open, with cozy booths and high ceilings. Like in other Primanti restaurants, the sandwiches rule, and they are like no other sandwiches anywhere.

Their signature Almost Famous sandwiches were created by accident but quickly became so popular that now Primanti does not serve much else. With a large list of ingredients to choose from on the sandwich, they all have one thing in common: they are loaded with French fries. They also serve a couple of hot soups and sodas. No alcohol.
