Covering 16,892 acres, Pymatuning State Park is one of the largest parks in the country. The park surrounds the Pymatuning Reservoir, which is one of the greatest draw-cards in the park, attracting thousands of water sport enthusiasts each year. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of water activities including canoeing and kayaking, SUP, pontoon boating and fishing. There are various picnic areas available in the park as well as 2 campgrounds, boat launches and rental cabins. Those who prefer to keep their feet dry can explore more than 7 miles of hiking, biking, cross-country and snowshoeing trails and enjoy excellent wildlife spotting including Bald Eagles who nest in the park each year.
