Salt Fork State Park is the largest state park in Ohio, with 17,229 acres of land and 2,952 acres of water. This popular recreation area is located about six miles from Lore City in Guernsey County. The park features the Kennedy Stone House, an 18-hole golf course, two marinas, 2,500-foot swimming beach, and seven public boat launching ramps. The lake is a great destination for fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, walleye, and muskellunge. It also offers picnicking facilities, trails for hiking, horseback riding and snowmobiling, miniature golf, an archery range, and a nature center.
