Amy's Park is a beautiful green area full of marshes, ponds and forests in the uplands of Bolton Landing, New York. Named in memory of Amy Wolgin Wiener, the property was purchased in February, 2012. Its hiking trails were opened to the public on July, 2012. The park includes the headwaters for Indian Brook and its large, un-fragmented forest and wetlands are important wildlife habitat. The park protects this fragile environment and prevents excess nutrients and sediments flowing into Indian Brook and Northwest Bay. There is a network of hiking trails through the park, for recreation, exploration and education. The trails lead to lookout areas that provide view of the active beaver pond and its wild residents, as well as Lake George. There is also a canoe and kayak launch area not far from the main parking lot.
