When Adirondack Winery opened its doors in 2008 in Lake George, New York, in the picturesque Adirondack Mountains, it was one of the first micro-wineries in the country. They were making wines in the back of their tasting room in small batches. The Tasting Room could fit about 15 people maximum. The winery quickly became popular with locals as well as tourists for their locally-handcrafted, award-winning wines. Today Adirondack Winery wines are sold in almost 400 wine stores and restaurants in upstate New York. They promote their wines at wine festivals in Lake George and all over New York State. Adirondack Winery opened its second Tasting Room in downtown Bolton Landing. The tasting room is now a popular gathering spot, with its rustic locally sourced barn wood flooring, wood accents, live wood finished oak barrel tables, cork and chalkboard walls, an art gallery on the walls and a unique wine bottle chandelier.
