The American Museum of Natural History is one of the largest museums in the world. This mammoth property consists of 28 connected buildings containing 45 permanent exhibits. Additionally, the property houses a planetarium and a library. The museum exhibits are related to human culture, natural science, and the universe.
In addition to the permanent exhibits, the museum hosts traveling exhibits and special events from time to time. The Discovery Room is perfect for families and offers interactive exhibits from virtually every field of science, targeted at children aged 5 to 12. The museum often hosts kid-friendly camps and educational programs as well.
