Review:
The Father Hennepin Bluff Park is a 5.5-acre park resting on a wooded bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Named after Franciscan priest Father Louis Hennepin who found the land in 1680, the Father Hennepin Bluff Park is connected to several other parks via a network of walking trails and boasts paths that run all the way down the Mississippi River, allowing visitors to reach the waters of the meandering river. The park features a bandstand, drinking fountains, picnic areas with grills, tables, and benches, and plenty of open spaces for relaxing. The park boasts different sections, including the Phillip W. Pillsbury Park and the Lucy Wilder Morris Park, and is open year-round.
