Review & FAQ:

West Sixth Brewing was founded in 2012 and is in the Bread Box building, a 100-year-old building that used to belong to the Rainbo Bread Factory. This location is where they brew, can, and bottle their beer, for sale at the taproom and for distribution. They began with their West Sixth IPA and now can 14 beers during the year in addition to numerous bottles. At any time of the year, you can find their IPA, amber ale, cocoa porter, and cerveza, the flagship brews. There are also five seasonal brews and five seasonal releases, all of which are canned, plus nine bottled beers. They have taprooms both downtown and at their Farm. The West Sixth Brewing Farm has 15 to 20 of their own brews on tap at any given moment, along with unique bottles from small batches of their Barrel Aged and Sixfold series. Each location has its own event schedule with games, live music, and more. West Sixth Brewing does more than just brew beer; they also give back to the community. They support local non-profits via Sixth for a Cause, Wooden Nickel, Pay It Forward Cocoa Porter, Pedaling for a Purpose, and event sponsorships.
