The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum -- The Museum of the Chicago Academy of Sciences is a leading nature museum in Chicago that focuses on showcasing the natural history of the region. Founded in 1857, operated by the Chicago Academy of Sciences, and named in honor of Peggy Notebaert, has an outstanding array of permanent exhibitions and botanic displays, including Butterfly Haven, Wilderness Walk, Water Lab, and City Science House.
