The Children's Museum of Illinois is a hands-on, interactive museum that encourages children between the ages of three and 12 to learn through play. Spanning two floors, the museum features an exciting array of exhibits and activities in the fields of the arts and sciences that aim to enhance imaginative thinking, exploration, and learning. The Children’s Museum of Illinois also offers a variety of external educational programs such as summer camps and special events, self-guided and guided field trips, and Museum on Wheels, which travels around to schools providing programs for Preschool to 6th-grade classrooms.
