Having opened in 1963, the Welsh Mountain Zoo has over 37 acres of zoological gardens that are home to a range of animals. Visitors of all ages will have fun exploring the various enclosures, such as Jungle Adventureland, European Otter, Chimpanzee World, the Children’s Farm, Bear Falls, and Sea Lion Rock. Visitors can get extremely close to the animals, playing with the animals, feeding them, and taking a few photographs. Visitors are even able to volunteer and be a zookeeper for a day, experiencing everything it takes to take care of the animals behind the scenes.
