The Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, West Virginia, was established in 1983 and is only one of four Carnegie Halls in the entire world. Cradled in the Alleghany Mountains, this visual and performing arts center has been graced by the presence of many notable performers, including George Winston, Taj Mahal, and Gillian Welch, to name a few.

Philanthropist Andrew Carnegie built the Georgian Revival-style structure in 1902, when it first served as a women's college before becoming host to exceptional artists from around the world. Over 75,000 annual patrons enjoy performances, award-winning classes, workshops, arts in education programs, fine arts exhibitions, and independent film productions here.
