Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is a very popular state park campground that offers nearly two hundred campsites located either near or on the Big Sur River, including both tent sites and RV sites.
Every site includes a picnic table, a half-grill, a fire pit, and parking space for one car at least. There are no hookups provided at any of the campsites, but there are toilets and hot showers within walking distance. The Campfire Center hosts a variety of programs in the evening during the weekends in the peak season. Park activities include hiking, wildlife viewing, biking, and nature trails.
