Fremont Campground is a family-friendly campground located just 20 minutes from the city of Santa Barbara, within the beautiful Lower Santa Ynez Recreation Area. The campground is set at an elevation of over 1,000 feet within a lushly-forested area just inland from the state's Pacific Ocean coastline. Over a dozen pet-friendly tent and RV sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, featuring amenities like picnic tables, campfire rings, and pedestal grills. All guests can access amenities like flush toilets and drinking water stations or purchase firewood and ice from the campground's host. Hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails embark from the campground, along with several nearby off-roading vehicle trails.
