Wakeda Campground is a family-friendly campground located just 10 minutes from Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, within convenient day trip distance of New England attractions like Boston and historic Portsmouth. The campground was opened to the public in 1965 and has been operated by the Savage family for more than half a century. Towering pine trees surround more than 400 campsites, which range from rustic tent sites to pull-through trailer and RV sites with full hookups. All sites offer outdoor amenities like private picnic tables and fireplaces. Many are pet-friendly, making the campground a great choice for visitors traveling with four-legged friends in tow. Onsite amenities include a convenience store, a game room and arcade, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and a fully-equipped children's playground. Each Sunday morning, the campground hosts pancake breakfasts for all onsite visitors.
