Beckford’s Tower is a seasonally-open attraction in Bath. This tall building is classified as an architectural folly, and was constructed between the years 1826 and 1827 by William Beckford, and today is in fact the only surviving architectural structure of his left standing. In the past, the Beckford Tower housed many amazing collections of artifacts, including literature and art, and it is an excellent example of Georgian architecture. The tower and museum are open today for visitors between the months of March and November, on weekends and bank holiday Mondays. Visitors can purchase a ticket solely for the tower, or a combination ticket that will get them access to several other museums in Bath.
