The Boatman is the only pub located on River Thames and it’s also one of the oldest. It made its debut in 1829 in Windsor as The King Head’s, although it was often called The Donkey House by the locals because it once stabled donkeys that worked along the river. This waterfront location is incredibly beautiful, providing views of the Eton Bridge. All meals served at The Boatman are classically Bristish, yet have a modern twist. Food is fresh and always cooked on-site. While dining here, guests can choose to sit inside the restaurant, at the conservatory, or on the outdoor terrace.
