Review:

Jefferson City is Missouri's beautiful state capitol, named in honor of United States President Thomas Jefferson. The city is home to a plethora of historic attractions, including the Missouri Governor's Mansion, the Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, and the National Register of Historic Places-listed State Capitol Building. Civil War-era figures from the city's history are interred at the lovely Jefferson City National Cemetery, part of a network of cemeteries overseen by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Unique museums include the Missouri State Museum, preserving the city's government and cultural history, and the Veterinary Medical Foundation Museum, showcasing veterinary practices and technologies throughout United States history. Be sure to check out the Miller Performing Arts Center.
