Altrincham Market originally opened in 1879 as a place for the community to gather, find locally sourced foods, and purchase locally made goods and locally offered services. In the many years since its opening, Altrincham Market has kept its core principles the same while at the same time updating the restaurants, building, and goods offered. There are six different kitchens that offer a variety of foods, a coffee shop, a wine shop, a chocolatier, plenty of British craft beer to drink, and more awaiting guests in this local staple. Aside from food, the covered market area features more than 60 different vendor stalls offering a diverse collection of goods and services.
