The Roosevelt Inn is in the building that was the area’s first permanent schoolhouse from 1905, and it retains its elegance in the form of a bed and breakfast. The establishment is close to all of the attractions of downtown Coeur d’Alene. There are eight rooms and six suites for guests to stay in, some of which are pet friendly and/or able to sleep an entire family of four. Every room has USB ports, wireless internet, turndown service, private baths, luxury robes, an AM/FM/CD player with alarm clock, lake views, and hair dryers.
Guests can request irons and ironing boards as well, and there is a rose and bread pudding upon arrival. Some rooms also have telescopes, fireplaces, iPod docking stations, and tubs.
The inn also has an ice machine, a soda machine, concierge services, a sauna and hot tub, a DVD library, central air conditioning and heating, wine and beer for sale, an office computer with printer, board games, lawn games, guest parlors, and massage therapy. A gourmet breakfast and buffet starts the day, and there is a manager’s wine and cheese reception as well. There is even a beverage bar and fresh baked treats.
