Review:
Hugo's Oyster Bar was opened by Rich Clark and Jonathan Schwenk in 2013 and features a menu that’s as ever-changing and seasonal as the catch of fresh seafood they serve. Dishes are prepared simply at Hugo’s in order to let the fresh ingredients shine.
Only seafood native to the water from the Mississippi Delta to the Outer Banks are served at Hugo’s Oyster Bar, with the exception of the exceptional oysters the Northeast is known for. Along with fresh fish and shellfish, the menu includes muffulettas and po’boys, steaks, Southern-inspired salads, and classic Cajun and Deep South desserts.
