For 100 years, the National Border Patrol has ensured the safety of America’s borders, ensuring that illegal immigrants, unlawful drugs and other contraband do not enter the country. At the National Border Control Museum in El Paso you can find out more about the various duties and responsibilities of the men and women who work for the Border Patrol. The museum showcases many photographic exhibits which document the early days of the patrol, when newly-appointed agents were still required to provide their own horses in order to execute their duties. Other exhibits include weapons, uniforms, oral interviews and many more interesting artifacts.
