Offering an attractive and peaceful outdoor area within the city confines, the Reed Creek Nature Park & Interpretive Center is an important preservation and education resource. The first thing to do on arrival at the park is pick up a trail map from the Interpretive Center – this will set you up to explore the park at your own pace. The park has a 1/3 mile raised boardwalk as well as a network of trails which are ideal for walking/jogging as well as for wildlife watching. Look out for deer, otters, birds and many interesting plants as you make your way through a series of different natural habitats.
