Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

If you’re looking for a historic and fun location to visit in Raleigh, look no further than Pullen Park . Not only is it the very first public park to be established in North Carolina (it was established in 1887), it’s also the country’s fifth oldest amusement park, the world’s 16th oldest amusement park. With 66.4 acres of land, Pullen Park is home to a fantastic aquatic center, an arts center, several playgrounds, a community center, and a community center in addition to its famous amusement park. At the northern end of the park, there are also frequent theatrical shows held through Theatre in the Park, which sees over 40,000 people in attendance annually. Perhaps the most popular feature of the park is the famed Dentzel Carousel which was opened in 1921 and was later placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
